DMCA Policy & Copyright Takedown
SlidesGrabber.com respects intellectual property rights and responds promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
⚠️ Important: SlidesGrabber.com is a download utility tool. We do not host, store, or distribute any presentations or documents. All content is served directly from SlideShare.net and Scribd.com. Copyright concerns regarding specific content should first be directed to those platforms.
1. Our Commitment to Copyright Law
SlidesGrabber.com (“we”, “us”, “our”) takes copyright infringement seriously. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998 and respond to valid takedown notices submitted in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512.
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that any content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice using the process described below.
2. What SlidesGrabber.com Does and Does Not Do
Before submitting a notice, please understand how our service works:
✅ What we do: SlidesGrabber.com provides a browser-based interface that allows users to retrieve publicly available presentations from SlideShare.net and Scribd.com via their public APIs and URLs. We act as an intermediary tool only.
❌ What we do not do: We do not upload, store, cache, reproduce, or redistribute any presentation, document, or slide content on our own servers. No copyrighted file resides on SlidesGrabber.com infrastructure.
If a specific presentation or document is publicly available on SlideShare or Scribd, the appropriate party to contact for its removal is SlideShare (LinkedIn) or Scribd directly. Once removed from the source platform, it will no longer be accessible through our tool.
3. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe our service has been used to infringe your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent containing all of the following required elements:
- 1Your identification: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address as the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- 2Description of the copyrighted work: Identify the original copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, provide a representative list.
- 3Location of the infringing material: Provide the specific URL(s) on SlidesGrabber.com where the allegedly infringing activity occurred, or the SlideShare/Scribd URL of the content in question.
- 4Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 5Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- 6Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that do not include all required elements may not be acted upon. Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice may expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
4. Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that content linked through SlidesGrabber.com was wrongly subject to a takedown notice, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- 1Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- 2Identification of the material and its location before removal.
- 3A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- 4A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your district, or if outside the US, any judicial district in which SlidesGrabber.com may be found.
- 5Your physical or electronic signature.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, SlidesGrabber.com maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to restrict or block access to our service at our sole discretion where repeated copyright violations are established.
6. Response Time
We aim to acknowledge all valid DMCA notices within 3–5 business days of receipt. If the notice is valid and complete, we will take appropriate action as promptly as reasonably possible. Please note that action on source-hosted content must be taken by SlideShare or Scribd, not by SlidesGrabber.com.
7. Third-Party Platform Resources
For content that exists on the source platforms, please use their official copyright reporting channels:
